55-year-old teacher with macromastia

• In April 2023, this  55 year old teacher requested for a bilateral breast reduction operation. She had been suffering many decades  from back and neck pain which inevitably affected her work ability and quality of life. She wore a JJ bra cup size, did not smoke.
• In Aug 2023, she underwent a 3hr bilateral reduction mammoplasty operation using a Wide-pattern scar (inverted T-shaped scar) and the nipple and areola were preserved in a tissue flap (superomedial dermogladular flap) which was repositioned into a higher position.
• Her post-operative recovery was uneventful.
